At boulettes larder, we custom-blend our own spices using the highest quality base ingredients from our spice apothecary. Depending on availability of source ingredients, we can custom-blend any of the following for you for pick up or mail order. Please give us at least one week to produce a spice blend.
Spice blends are sold by weight, with a 2 oz. minimum. Prices below are for 2 oz. of each blend. You are welcome to order more than 2 oz.

| shichimi togarashi (also called seven spice chile or seven flavor) This blend (translates as seven-flavor or seven spice mix) is used throughout Japan as a table condiment, occupying much the same place that salt and pepper do in the American household. Contains Chinese Chile (sansho, a close relative of Sichuan pepper), a chili powder (togarashi), orange peel, seaweed (nori), ginger, poppy seeds and sesame seeds. Fairly hot.
